South Africans need a visa to travel to Dubai. The processing time takes seven or so business days. The tourist visa requires the sponsorship of hotels, tour operators or family and friends. Visitors cannot apply directly to the embassy in Pretoria for a visa. The embassy will fax the hotel or tour operator the necessary paper work. Emigrating to Dubai is a huge step to think of making and is not a decision to take on a whim. There are lots of things that you will need to look at. Remember it’s not going to be like a holiday. It sounds like an obvious step to take, but a lot of people will actually get so caught up in the great weather and the fact that the only time they went there they had a great time, that they won’t take this very important step.
